What do you think of this favor idea?
I am planning to create a centerpiece that doubles as favors (and make sure people know to take one home with them) – and I want to stack a bunch of wrapped presents (wrapped in our wedding colors) in a nice arrangement. They would have to be fairly large, and I’ve been trying to come up with something to put inside of them that fits into my chocolate theme.
Someone on here suggested that I put dry brownie or cookie ingredients inside because it’ll fill a large box, won’t melt, and will be personal, affordable and fit into the theme – along with a cute recipe. What do you all think of that idea?

How about just some cookies? Unless it’s extreme heat they won’t melt together, but I’ve seen the cookie mix as a favor several times and I don’t know anyone who’s actually taken it home and used it. Most were left and my friends and family who did take them chucked them right after we left. It’s a cute idea, but I would save yourself some time and just pick up some premade chocolate cookies and put them in there. At the last wedding I went to they had favor boxes that had included a cookie and recipe from the mothers and grandmothers favorite recipe. It was cute and gave us something to munch on while all the speeches were being done and we were waiting on food.
